How to Add Funds to a Case's Trust Account

Adding funds to a case's Trust Account usually means that the intended parents of the case transfer funds to the case's Trust Account. Currently, TrustUS does not support directly withdrawing money from the case's intended parents within the App, and such transactions must be completed outside of TrustUS. However, an attorney user can log a completed fund transfer into a case.

 

In order to do so, go to the "Request" tab, and then navigate to the "Manual Entry" tab on the page. Then, click "Add New Transaction", and toggle the "Transaction Type" to "Credit". Upon doing so, the case's Intended Parent user will be automatically selected as the "Sender". Continue to fill out the rest of the form, and add multiple entries if needed by pressing the "Add New Transaction" multiple times. When finished, press the "Confirm" button at the bottom, and press "Yes" in the subsequent confirmation dialog.
